  • Jermaine Russ P/K/A as Mac.G, Mac Gizzle and GET EM MAC; an inspiring Producer/Songwriter from Philadelphia, who has a promising career in world of Production. His Father Victor Sutton was a talented guitarist whom played gigs with the likes of the great Stylistics and The Thompson Brothers. Mac G was playing drums and percussion at the age of 3, his inherited talent followed him through each stage of each musical era which gave him that edge to start producing records. Mac.G signed a Production Contract back in 2000 with Earl Simmons, better known to the world as DMX, under his Def Jam imprint BLOODLINE RECORDS. Mac.G was immediately put in the studio to Produce a track off the EXIT WOUNDS SOUNDTRACK Titled Dog 4 Life Performed by the former Bloodline Records artist Iceberg, who's better known as YUNG BERG. The soundtrack sold considerably well due to little promotion. Not long after that Mac produced a track for another label mate Kashmir the First Lady of the BLOODLINE Kennel. A track Title FOCUS which was taken from the (GOLD) CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE SOUNDTRACK. But Mac had to put in work to really impress the DOG himself in order to make the LP that would be rumored to retire the Dog for good (So he said) GRAND CHAMP. Mac's Contract was up in 2003, and with hard work and hustle he managed to land the Bonus Track on GRAND CHAMP before he checked out! The track titled ON TOP featuring Bloodline Records Recording Artist Big Stan on Grand Champ. Mac G met his now Manager LIVIO HARRIS who was responsible for breaking singer ADINA HOWARD teamed Mac up with LIVIO'S long time recording artist Lil'J former Hollywood Records Recording Artist whom release his debut album back in 2001 titled All ABOUT J as well as the follow up in 2003 BACK 2 J. In 2006 Lil J released his 3rd LP on his own brand (FED- EX ENT.) entitled Back Like I Left Somethin, which Mac G Produced 9 of the 15 tracks on the album. Mac G has worked with many known artist in the music industry such as Flipmode Squad's RAMPAGE on his latest return to the rap game debut entitled Have You Seen? which Mac G produced 3 tracks on the LP. Mac G has also worked in studio sessions with the likes of EVE, Kurupt, Young Gunz, Mya, Omillio Sparks, (State Property), City Boyz, Master Ace, Phatts Bossi and Actress/Singer Monica Calhoun (Best Man, Player's Club) etc. So as you can see Mac Gizzle is no Stranger to the Music Industry, and you'll be hearing a lot from him in the near future.
